**Istinja:** - Cleansing with water - Removes impurity completely **Istijmar:** - Wiping with pure, dry materials - Stones, tissues, or similar - **Minimum 3 wipes required** - Material must be pure, permissible, absorbent Either suffices alone. Combining both is better.
