**Minimum:** No limit - could be days or hours **Maximum:** 40 days - If bleeding stops before, she performs ghusl and prays - If bleeding continues past 40 days, it becomes istihada **Important:** If she purifies before sunset, she must pray Dhuhr and Asr. If before Fajr, she must pray Maghrib and Isha.
