FAQ
Start fasting voluntary days in Sha'ban, settle any missed fasts from last year, plan your Quran reading schedule, set charity goals, and stock up on essentials so you can focus on worship once Ramadan begins.
A balanced schedule includes suhoor before Fajr, morning adhkar and Quran reading, afternoon rest or light work, Quran recitation before Maghrib, iftar followed by Maghrib and Isha prayers, Taraweeh, and night du'a before sleeping.
The Quran has 600 pages. Reading 20 pages a day — roughly 4 pages after each of the 5 daily prayers — lets you finish one complete reading by the 30th day. Many Muslims aim for this by pairing it with Taraweeh attendance.
The Last 10 Nights begin on the 21st of Ramadan and contain Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Decree), which is better than a thousand months of worship. The Prophet (peace be upon him) would intensify his worship, perform i'tikaf, and seek this night especially on the odd nights.
