FAQ
The Prophet (peace be upon him) recommended saying SubhanAllah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times, and Allahu Akbar 34 times after each obligatory prayer. This completes 100 praises. He also recommended Ayat al-Kursi and the last three surahs of the Quran.
After each prayer, it is Sunnah to say SubhanAllah 33 times. Separately, saying SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi 100 times daily wipes away sins even if they were like the foam of the sea, as narrated in Sahih Muslim.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever says SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi 100 times a day, his sins will be forgiven even if they were like the foam of the sea." Dhikr also brings tranquility to the heart, as Allah says: "Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest" (Quran 13:28).
Key daily adhkar include: morning and evening remembrances (Ayat al-Kursi, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, An-Nas), SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi (100 times), La ilaha illallah wahdahu la shareeka lah (100 times), and seeking forgiveness (Astaghfirullah) 100 times.
