**Prohibition:** - For both the muhrim and non-muhrim - Cutting trees of the Haram (sanctuary) - Cutting fresh plants of the Haram that are not harmful **Permissible:** - Cutting harmful branches in the way **Exceptions:** - Idhkhir (a type of fragrant grass) - What humans have planted (by consensus)
