Hiring for Acts of Worship:** It is not permissible to hire for acts of worship and devotion like adhan, Hajj, giving fatwa, judging, leading prayer, and teaching Quran - because they are acts of nearness to Allah. However, one who performs these may take provision from the Muslim treasury (bayt al-mal). **2. Obligations of Parties:** - **Lessor:** Must deliver the rented property to the lessee and enable him to benefit from it - **Lessee:** Must preserve the rented property and pay the rent when due **3. Termination:** - Neither party may terminate the lease contract without the other's consent - If one of them dies while the rented property remains, the contract is not voided - the heir takes his place
