Bleeding outside normal menstrual times - does not prevent prayer or fasting
**Definition:** Blood flowing outside normal times from a vein called al-'adhil. **Ruling:** She is considered pure - can pray, fast, and have intercourse. **What to Do:** 1. Perform ghusl when menstruation ends 2. Wash private parts 3. Use cotton/pad to prevent flow 4. Make wudu for each prayer time **Three Cases:** | Case | Situation | Action | |------|-----------|--------| | **1** | Has known cycle | Follow her normal days | | **2** | No cycle but distinguishable blood | Dark/thick = menses, red/thin = istihada | | **3** | No cycle, no distinction | Assume 6-7 days as menses |
