What is ju'alah and its permissibility
**Definition:** Ju'alah: Committing to a known reward for a specific work, regardless of who does it. **Example:** Saying: "Whoever finds my lost car gets 1000 riyals." **Ruling:** It is from the **permissible** contracts. **Evidence from Quran:** - "And whoever brings it will have a camel's load, and I am responsible for it" [12:72] **Evidence from Sunnah:** - **Hadith of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri رضي الله عنه:** Some Companions passed by an Arab tribe and sought hospitality, but they refused. Their chief was stung, so they asked the Companions: "Do any of you practice ruqyah?" They said: "Yes, but only if you give us something (ju'l)." They agreed on a flock of sheep. A Companion recited al-Fatihah and the man recovered. They brought the sheep but said: "We won't take them until we ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." When they returned and asked, he ﷺ said: "Take them, and strike a share for me with you" [Bukhari & Muslim]
