**Four Rulings:** **1. Legal Capacity:** The one offering the reward must be legally capable of disposal. The worker must be capable of the work. **2. Permissible Work:** The work must be permissible. Invalid if for something forbidden like singing, making wine, etc. **3. No Time Limit:** The work should not be time-limited. If he says: "Whoever returns my camel by end of the week gets a dinar" - not valid. **4. Revocable Contract:** It is a permissible (non-binding) contract - either party may revoke it. - If the **offerer revokes**: the worker gets fair market wage for work done - If the **worker revokes**: he gets nothing
