Rulings of Usurpation

**Six Rulings:** **1. Return in Original State:** The usurper must return the usurped property in its original condition. If he destroyed it, he returns an equivalent. **2. Return with Increase:** The usurper must return the usurped property with its increase - whether separate (like offspring) or attached (like growth). **3. Building/Planting:** If the usurper disposed of the usurped property by building or planting on it, he is ordered to remove it if the owner demands. **4. Depreciation:** If the usurped property changed, decreased, or depreciated, the usurper compensates for the loss. **5. Usurpation by Litigation:** Usurpation may occur through disputes and false oaths (lying under oath to obtain another's property). **6. Invalid Transactions:** All transactions by the usurper are void if not authorized by the owner.
