The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Leave them, for I put them on while in a state of purity'
5 conditions that must be met
**5 Conditions:** 1. **Worn in state of purity** - must have wudu when putting them on 2. **Covering the obligatory area** - must cover up to ankles 3. **Permissible** - not stolen, usurped, or silk for men 4. **Pure** - not made from impure material (e.g., donkey leather) 5. **Within the time limit** - 1 day for resident, 3 days for traveler
