General texts requiring Zakat on gold/silver include jewelry 2. **Hadith:** A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ with her daughter who had two thick gold bracelets. He asked: "Do you pay Zakat on this?" She said: "No." He said: "Would you like Allah to put bracelets of fire on you?" She threw them to the Prophet ﷺ. [Abu Dawud, authenticated] 3. This is more cautious and clears liability **Hadith:** "Leave what makes you doubt for what doesn't make you doubt."
