Option of Fraud (Khiyar al-Tadlis)

**Definition:** When the seller deceives the buyer with something that increases the price. **Ruling:** This action is **prohibited (haram)**. **Evidence:** - **Hadith:** The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever cheats us is not from us" [Muslim] **Example:** A person has a car with many internal defects, then deliberately makes it appear with a beautiful color and makes its exterior appearance shiny to deceive the buyer into thinking it is sound, so he buys it. **Buyer's Right:** In this case, the buyer has the right to return the item to the seller and recover the price.
