Seven conditions for validity
Seven conditions are required for the validity of a sale:
1. Mutual Consent
Trade should be conducted with mutual consent
2. Legal Capacity
3. Ownership or Authorization
Do not sell what you do not have
4. Permissible Benefit
Allah has forbidden the sale of wine, dead animals, pigs, and idols
5. Ability to Deliver
The Prophet forbade the sale of gharar (uncertainty)
6. Item Must Be Known
7. Price Must Be Known
