**Ruling:** Recommended (mustahabb) **When to Perform:** - When receiving good news - When a calamity is averted - When blessed with something pleasing **Method:** Same as sujud tilawah - One prostration - Takbir going down - No qiblah required (but better if facing it) **Evidence:** The Prophet ﷺ and Companions would prostrate in gratitude to Allah.
