The Prophet ﷺ said: 'The one who leads is the best reciter of Quran'
Who is most deserving to lead and who cannot lead
**Priority Order for Leading:** 1. **Best reciter** who knows fiqh of prayer 2. **Most knowledgeable** of Sunnah (if equal in recitation) 3. **Earliest in hijrah** (if equal in knowledge) 4. **Earliest in Islam** (if equal in hijrah) 5. **Oldest in age** (if equal in all above) 6. **Draw lots** if all equal **Special Cases:** - House owner leads over guests - Sultan/ruler leads over others - Regular imam leads over visitors (even if less knowledgeable)
