In Allah's Cause

**Who Qualifies:** - Volunteer fighters (mujahideen) in Allah's cause - Those who don't have a fixed salary from the treasury - Given from Zakat whether rich or poor **Purpose:** Supporting those who defend Islam and Muslims. **Note:** Some scholars extend this to Islamic students dedicating themselves to religious knowledge (as seeking knowledge is jihad), if they have no wealth. However, one who abandons work just to worship (nawafil) is not given—worship benefits only the individual, while knowledge benefits all.
