Format, takbirat, and recitation
**Format:** 2 rak'ahs before khutbah **Takbirat:** - 1st rak'ah: 6 takbirat after opening takbir (before recitation) - 2nd rak'ah: 5 takbirat before recitation - Raise hands with each takbir **Recitation (loud):** - Rak'ah 1: Fatihah + al-A'la (or Qaf) - Rak'ah 2: Fatihah + al-Ghashiyah (or al-Qamar) **Khutbah:** After prayer (not before like Jumu'ah)
