What to do when unsure about rak'ah count
**Two Scenarios:** **1. No Preponderance (Equal doubt):** - Take the lesser (certain) number - Complete the prayer - Prostrate before salam **2. One Side Preponderant:** - Act on what seems most likely - Complete the prayer - Prostrate after salam **Example:** Unsure if prayed 3 or 4 rak'ahs: - If equal doubt → assume 3, pray one more, sujud before salam - If likely 4 → assume 4, sujud after salam
