Cases where shortening is not allowed
**Must Complete Prayer When:** 1. **Praying behind resident imam** - follow the imam 2. **Uncertain if imam is traveler or resident** - must complete 3. **Making up a home prayer while traveling** - pray it as 4 4. **Prayer invalidated when behind resident** - repeat as 4 5. **Intends absolute/permanent residence** - no longer a traveler
