10-12 rak'ahs that accompany the five daily prayers
**10 Rak'ahs (Ibn Umar's narration):** | Prayer | Before | After | |--------|--------|-------| | Fajr | 2 | - | | Dhuhr | 2 | 2 | | Maghrib | - | 2 | | Isha | - | 2 | **12 Rak'ahs (Preferred):** Add 2 more before Dhuhr (total 4 before) **Most Emphasized:** Fajr sunnah - "Better than the world and all it contains" - The Prophet ﷺ never abandoned them
