The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Sincerely make du'a for the deceased'
Requirements for valid Janazah prayer
**Conditions:** - Intention - Facing qiblah - Covering awrah - Avoiding impurity - Deceased present (if in town) - Islam of both (prayer & deceased) - Purity (or tayammum with excuse) **Pillars (6):** 1. Standing (if able) 2. 4 takbirat 3. Reciting Fatihah 4. Salah upon Prophet ﷺ 5. Du'a for deceased 6. Salam **Sunnahs:** - Raise hands with each takbir - Seek refuge before Fatihah - Du'a for oneself and Muslims - Silent recitation
