How to wrap the deceased
**Ruling:** Wajib - must cover entire body **Sunnah shrouds:** - **Man:** 3 white cotton wraps, wrapped one over another - **Woman:** 5 pieces: izar, khimar, shirt, 2 wraps - **Boy:** 1 garment (permissible: 3) - **Girl:** shirt + 2 wraps **Special cases:** - Martyr: buried in his clothes, not washed, not prayed over - Muhrim: no covering of head (male) - Miscarried baby (4+ months): washed, shrouded, prayed over
